Project Description

The Nouri Petrochemical Tank Construction Project, located in Asaluyeh within the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, was executed on an EPC basis to increase storage capacity, enhance operational reliability, and improve the management of product receiving, storage, and transfer activities. The project scope includes engineering studies, detailed design, procurement of materials and equipment, civil and foundation works, tank fabrication and installation, construction of associated process piping and connections, modifications to existing facilities, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning. As part of the project, a new paraxylene storage tank and a raffinate storage tank were constructed, while the required modifications and tie-ins were carried out on piping systems and facilities associated with the orthoxylene tanks. These activities were implemented to expand the storage infrastructure and ensure effective integration of the new tanks with the existing product handling and transfer systems. By increasing storage capacity and operational flexibility, the project contributes to reducing operational constraints, improving product management reliability, maintaining continuity in production and transfer operations, and enhancing the overall operational readiness of the complex. The upgraded infrastructure also provides greater flexibility in handling petrochemical products and strengthens the reliability of the overall storage and transfer chain.
