Project Description

The Construction of Floating-Roof Crude Oil Storage Tanks at Shiraz Refinery project was implemented to increase crude oil storage capacity, enhance operational safety, and improve the management of crude oil receipt and storage required by the refinery’s process units. The project scope includes engineering and design, procurement of equipment and materials, civil and foundation works, fabrication and installation of floating-roof storage tanks, construction of pipelines and process connections, installation of level measurement and control systems, roof sealing and drainage systems, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works, fire protection and safety systems, as well as technical testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. By increasing the refinery’s crude oil storage capacity and operational flexibility, reducing product losses, and improving the safety and reliability of the facilities, the project plays an important role in ensuring stable crude oil supply and supporting the continuous operation of the refinery’s process units.
