Project Description

The Hormozgan Power Plant Gas Pressure Reduction Station Project was executed on an EPC basis to provide a safe, stable, and controlled supply of natural gas to the power plant. With a capacity of 300,000 m³/h, the station is designed to reduce and regulate the incoming gas pressure and deliver natural gas to the plant’s consuming units under the required operating conditions. The project scope includes engineering studies and design, procurement of equipment and materials, civil and foundation works, installation of mechanical equipment and piping systems, instrumentation and control systems, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and operation of the pressure reduction station. The system has been developed with a strong focus on operational safety, stable gas pressure and flow, and improved fuel supply reliability. By ensuring controlled gas delivery to the power generation facilities, the project contributes to reducing pressure-related operational risks, improving fuel supply stability, enhancing plant safety, and increasing the overall reliability of the gas supply system. As a result, it plays an important role in maintaining continuous and efficient power plant operation.
