The Design and Construction of a 30,000 m³ Diesel Fuel Storage Tank at Fars Power Plant project was implemented to increase backup fuel storage capacity, enhance fuel supply reliability, and ensure the continuous operation of the power plant under various operating conditions. The project scope includes engineering and design, procurement of equipment and materials, civil and foundation works, fabrication and installation of the diesel storage tank, construction of pipelines and process connections, installation of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, protection and safety systems, firefighting facilities, as well as technical testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. By increasing the strategic fuel storage capacity of Fars Power Plant, reducing the risks associated with fuel supply limitations or interruptions, and improving operational flexibility, the project plays an important role in enhancing the reliability and continuity of power generation.
