Project Description

The Construction of Fuel Storage Tanks at Gilan Power Plant project was implemented to expand fuel storage capacity, enhance the reliability of backup fuel supply, and ensure the continuous operation of the power plant under various operating conditions. The project scope includes engineering and design, procurement of equipment and materials, civil and foundation works, fabrication and installation of fuel storage tanks, construction of pipelines and process connections, installation of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, protection and safety systems, firefighting facilities, as well as technical testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. By increasing the strategic fuel storage capacity of Gilan Power Plant, reducing the risks associated with fuel supply limitations or interruptions, and improving operational flexibility, the project plays an important role in enhancing the stability, safety, and reliability of power generation.
