Abadan Oil Refining Company and Paydar Poulad Pishro have begun a new chapter of technological collaboration in the development of innovative carbon dioxide (CO₂) management and utilization solutions by signing a cooperation memorandum. This collaboration focuses on identifying technical and economic potentials, advancing engineering knowledge, conducting specialized studies, and designing joint projects, paving the way for the application of advanced technologies to reduce industrial emissions and improve the efficiency of refining processes. According to the terms of this memorandum, the two organizations will pursue the development of low-carbon technology-based projects by leveraging their specialized capabilities and utilizing research and operational capacities. This approach can play an effective role in achieving sustainable development goals, enhancing resource efficiency, and creating value within the country’s refining industry.
